In a time of distress from all the adult life responsibilities, it is a always a challenge to find the time to take care of yourself. It’s like you cannot escape from them. Not to mention the not so pleasant weather in Philadelphia, which makes it more challenging to dress the way you like. But finally, after so long, the sun seems to take out its face and really give light to the continuing colorless weather. In a sea of college students, you find a Fashionista that knows how to handle her busy life. When she looks good, she feels good. She welcomes spring in the best way she can, and her outfit screams that.
We all know that any girl loves denim, but when you add embroidered embellishments to it, it’s even better. Embroidered patches are the new best thing, and it just keeps getting better. This Fashionista has waited to get this outfit out of her closet for too long. Her flower-embroidered denim blouse, from New York & Company, is perfect for the weather transition. What I love about this particular blouse, is that it was styled by this Fashionista exactly as on a mannequin showcase, which makes the outfit even more special. The matching skirt is also from New York & Company, while the beautifully floral patterned, detailed belt along the waist makes the outfit more complete.
As this Fashionista takes a peaceful stroll around her campus, she carries a medium sized, burgundy wallet, which complements some of the colors in her outfit. She is wearing a pair of Charlotte Russe brown-colored wedges, which is the mostly worn style in the spring and summer, and they totally fit in with her floral look. To finish off, she adds a touch of luxury, yet effortless look by styling a pair of oval-shaped earrings, also from NewYork & Company and a golden-colored watch from Michael Kors. This Fashionista makes me too excited to wear less layers and to just enjoy spring!
