ALL IN THE DETAILS: Classic Rock Casual

January 16th, 2017 at 2:00am

This Fashionista is a rocker chic who loves concerts and coffee shops. Living in a tourist town, there is always so much to do. We all want to master the cute but casual and effortless look—but not overdone. The key to it all is layering, keeping the colors coordinated, knowing what kind of look you want to go for, looking at your outfit as a masterpiece, and figuring out what the focal point is. Going from there is the key.

This Fashionista is sporting a plain white T-shirt with black lettering that spells out “nostalgia.” To turn up the volume, she decided to pair a camel suede crisscross-detailed skirt and layered black sheer tights underneath. Her chunky black booties add such a cool girl vibe, and are perfect for any concert she decides to spontaneously go to. To tie the look all together, she added a classic jean jacket  on top, which is a staple in any casual girl’s wardrobe.

One trend that has really blown up in 2016, one of my favorite accessories, is chokers! Chokers can bring any look up to the next level, and this one definitely did the outfit justice. This thick black choker is super wearable, and has a really faint lace illustration. And of course, you have to have a little bling—even if you’re going for the casual look. These fun Alex and Ani bracelets and gold hoop earrings are just enough for a soft touch of glam.

As for hair and makeup, have fun with it! A half up, half down hairstyle is super cute when you want to be flirty and fun! Fashion should be fun. When you become more comfortable with who you are, you won’t have such a hard time figuring out what you want to wear.

Hi there! My name is Jenni Fitzpatrick. I am currently building my empire, with 20 years of wisdom under my belt. I am studying the thrilling major of business management at Coastal Carolina University. To me, fashion is fascinating. I love fashion because it is an outlet of expression. Clothing is more then fabric, it is a feeling. I believe that fashion transforms woman into woman who love, who embrace, and who achieve. I am a young, blonde, passionate, ambitious girl, who wants to make a difference in this world, and I will never stop working until I do. Chances are if it is pink, I love it. If you have any interest in Coco Chanel, fashion documentaries, or coffee shops we will probably become best friends. Feel free to follow me on social media channels to connect with me. Much love always.
