Don’t Live in NYC? Here’s How You Can Still Be a Part of NYFW!

New York Fashion Week often feels less about the fashion and more about the exclusivity of it all. Even if you go to school in NYC, attending NYFW still requires an invite, ridiculous social media following, and/or plain old good luck. On the off chance you are able to sneak a spot in the standing room section, the designs down the runway won’t be available (or accessible to the college budget, tbh) until well over six months from now.

Luckily, our sister property, Who What Wear, is cutting through all the red tape and making NYFW accessible—and shoppable! Who What Wear celebrated NYFW with its first runway show featuring a curation of editors’ favorite trends and brands for spring. The in-person attendees were able to shop the looks in real time on iPads through a custom digital shopping platform. Fashion plus tech, what’s not to love?

But the audience at the show weren’t the only ones who could instantly purchase the cropped denim culottes, reworked shirts, or studded bags they saw pass before them. The full show was streamed on YouTube Live—creating a “front row for all” experience for anyone. Even better? You can view and shop the show at your convenience (meaning your next study break just got a lot more fashionable).

So regardless where you go to school, feel a part of the NYFW experience. Check out Who What Wear Runway and let us know which one of these looks you are shopping in the comments below!
