STYLE GURU STYLE: In the Nude for Fall

Happy October Fashionistas/os! As September ends fall begins. Although, the summer weather has turned into cold air there is still a savvy way to bare skin. Nudes and earth tones provide a sleek, simple and subtle-sexy look to fall fashion for any occasion.

Jean material and nudes go together like pumpkin and patch. Candy corny right? Most definitely. However, whats more of a treat than a trick is denim on nude. Jean is a dark earth tone that complement the lighter side of nudes. In this outfit, I chose to keep it simple by wearing a pair of cuffed dark washed high-waisted jeans. For my top, I jazzed up what could’ve been a plain nude long sleeve with a crisscross neckline that bares a little cleavage. This top is my one of my favorite fall items; I loved it so much I had to buy it in black as well! Additionally, I finished off the core pieces of this outfit with strappy nude heels.

Comparatively, leaves are to trees as accessories are to outfits. I am not one to drown myself in bangles or belts, however, one to three key items are enough for me. After I slip on my heels, I slide on my watch. I’m obsessed with how my watch adds elegance and shine to a simple outfit. Being simplistic can only go so far until its time to pack your purse. If you’re like me and carry your life in your bag a tote might do the job. My lightweight tote of choice is in the earth toned family and adds flare with its shredded fabric. This bag is sure to be a conversation starter that can last you through any season.

In essence, express how you dress. The season is changing and the trends are too. In reality, the weather is telling you to show less skin but fashion is telling you to think of different alternatives so you can bare it all. Mama nature is fashions number one inspiration. Continue flexxin’ your complexion in earth and nude tones. Although it’s chilly outside, there’s still a way to own you skin tone. Be in the nude for fall. The world is your runway.
