Hi again! Welcome back to venturing into my favorite fashionable picks of the month. I am so excited to continue being a Style Guru for the fall semester. In case you are not yet familiar with my personal page, my name is Odessa Magafas and I am a Public Relations/Advertising and business student at Loyola University Chicago. I cannot wait to provide the most fashion-forward trends of the fall and help you develop your own style while doing so.
Let’s start off with some basic facts about me. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri- the Gateway to the Midwest! I enjoy working out, being quirky, laughing uncontrollably and watching classics. Now that I live in the heart of Chicago, I absolutely love trying new foods or local places, getting to know the various neighborhoods, taking walks around the city and the shopping, of course!
The fashion industry has always caught my attention and I could not wait to become more involved in this particular field. I think that it is very important to find your sense of style and focus on uncovering how you express yourself through clothing choices. Trends are fun to follow, but it offers a greater sense of individuality and inspiration when your fashion comes from the heart!
My “go-to style” would have to be the bohemian look because I adore the intricate patterns and colorful designs. As a busy college student, it also makes for an easy and time efficient look. I usually pair a bohemian kimono with a basic tank top and a simple pair of jeans for my pre-fall outfit selection. An outfit is never complete without a little sparkle and accessory, so remember to add a necklace to the look. Usually I complete my outfit selection with a cute pair of heels or wedges; also, you can never go wrong with a versatile nude color shoe!
Bring on the cooler weather, windy days, vests, jackets and booties because I am ready to start this fall season with some serious fashion inspiration! Let the outfit creating and styling begin!
