Hello, lovely people! My name is Natalie Bader and I am a senior at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. I am an Apparel and Textiles Marketing major with a minor in Business Administration. I am very interested in all aspects of the fashion industry, but I think I have narrowed down my future career choices to either merchandise planning or marketing.
I was a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this summer and I loved it so much that I decided to reapply for the fall semester. In addition to scouting for the most fashionable people on campus, I will also be working at all of the home K-State football games and I am the president of the Apparel Marketing Design Alliance. It’s going to be a crazy and fun semester!
I have had an interest in fashion for quite a long time. I can remember flipping through fashion magazines when I was 10-years-old. I have always loved how clothing and accessories allow people to express their creativity and personality. I believe there is no right or wrong way to dress; all that matters is that you’re comfortable and confident!
My personal style really depends on what kind of mood I am in or who I want to be that day. Sometimes, I have more of a classic look and other days I’m giving off a rocker-chic vibe. I love the color black and I can’t wear heals to save my life.
I wouldn’t say I’m a huge trend follower, but if there is a fashion trend that I’m really digging and I think will last awhile, I will invest in it. As of right now, I am very into sandals with interesting details, bralettes and layered jewelry.
I can’t wait to show everyone the diverse styles of the students here at Kansas State. I’ve already seen so many people with an awesome fashion sense!
