My name is Alyssa Bacchus and I am a sophomore at Miami University in the lovely little town of Oxford, Ohio. I am studying Strategic Communications with a minor in Fashion and Design (of course). With my newly added minor I thought CollegeFashionista would be the perfect internship for me to get experience and recognition in the industry.
As soon as I started dressing myself, I fell in love with the fashion world. Although some of my earlier fashion choices weren’t the best in hindsight, I always wore something different than everyone I knew and tried to be as trendy as possible. As the years have gone on, however, my sense of style has definitely matured.
My current ensemble is my typical, everyday, walking-around-campus outfit. The Free People LA Nite Tank top is always my go-to top. I have this top in almost every color because it as an absolute essential to my wardrobe. I usually pair these tops with a halter bandeau for a little lace accent and pop of color.
I paired the tank top with my favorite STS boyfriend jeans. I love these jeans because, for starters, they are so comfortable and they can always keep a dressed up look pretty casual. As for my shoes, I chose these camel booties from Madewell to accent the other neutral colors. I love these boots and always choose them for a cute end-of-summer or fall look. And because no outfit is complete without the perfect accessories, I added silver jewelry and rings. And, of course, you can never forget the reflective Ray-Bans!
