It’s always a great feeling to wear a brand new pair of squeaky clean shoes, or a fresh new top. But that’s not much of the style anymore. Purchasing distressed and worn clothing is the new trend on college campuses this spring. This Fashionista was spotted on campus rocking fabulous distressed jeans that are fashionable and cool.

This Fashionista’s relaxed boyfriend jeans steal the show. The weather at Kent State has been nothing but windy and chilly this spring season. Her black faded denim brings a spunky vibe to her outfit. Her jeans are full-length and cuffed at the bottom to perfectly meet the top of her booties. The jeans have rips down each leg that make them look lived in.

This Fashionista does a fantastic job of layering for the cold weather. Her sweater is a mix of dark green, white and gray plaid with accents of red and green stitching that will catch your eye at a closer glance. It has a great cowl neck that is stylish and also great for extra warmth. She layers this sweater with a khaki rain jacket.

The clothes on this Fashionista caught my eye, but her accessories are so cool. Her tan suede booties match her jacket perfectly and work well with the whole outfit. This Fashionista struts an adorable leather Coach tote for all of her classroom essentials. She combines rose gold and silver rings that have dainty, minimalistic stones that lay nicely on five different fingers. Her accessories make her outfit special!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “You can never go wrong with a cool pair of slouchy boyfriend jeans.”
