ALL IN THE DETAILS: These Eyes

With school starting back up, it’s all too easy to be tempted to ditch your more fashion-forward attire for leggings and oversized tees. We all get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of tests and quizzes that looking cute almost is an after-thought. Especially with the weather here in Texas, one day it’s overcast and close to freezing, the next it’s clear skies and a high of 72! With all of these factors, it’s a wonder to see my fellow students really letting their style flourish on the way to class.

When I saw this look, I immediately fell in love. It’s so simple yet so well done. This happened to be one of the colder days in San Marcos and she made sure to stay warm with a classic cream sweater. I love the interest that the diamond shaped texture of this sweater brings to the look as a whole. She decided to keep it simple with ripped black skinny jeans to show just enough skin. The star of this entire look though was definitely the Levi’s denim jacket. She actually added the patches at Disney Springs (a shopping center owned by Disney), in Orlando, Florida. She picked out all the patches specifically including G.M. her initials (so cute). I love how she kept all of her color choices subtle or neutral except for the pops of red here and there. Another understated yet essential part of this look were the Sam Edelman platform espadrilles. Although, pretty well known as a summer shoe, the suede material of these makes them suitable for the colder months.

I liked this Fashionista’s look because of its simplicity. I loved this Fashionista’s look because of the details. She really drew me in with her effortless jewelry and fun additions to an otherwise classic look.
