ALL IN THE DETAILS: Fringe Is Fab

Right now Florida is in that awkward period of winter, where it’s cold in the morning and then by noon it’s back up to 80 degrees. A true Floridian knows how to dress for this weather, and let me tell you, you have to get creative. This Fashionista, from the University of Florida, is showing an amazing way to layer up for all kinds of weather.

The details in this outfit are what make it pop. This Fashionista did a great job of keeping her details simple and separated, so they would not clash. The small touch of fringe hidden underneath the oversize sweater is a fun way to add texture to your everyday look for class. The ombré effect of the sweater creates a nice contrast with the black skirt. The oversize sweater is an easy way to cover yourself up for the colder temperatures in the morning, while the fringe skirt will keep you cool when the temperature begins to rise.

The off-the-shoulder aspect of the sweater allows you to see the lacy details of the halter bandeau underneath. Off-the-shoulder tops are very flattering, and can look really chic when you add a fun necklace or choker. The fringe necklace is an easy way to tie together the pattern of the skirt with the knitting of the sweater. I love that the different colored beads in the necklace add a pop of color to the monochrome look. The little black booties keep the outfit simple, yet trendy. These booties are definitely one of my favorite styles of shoes. The shoes and the skirt make this outfit easily convertible from the classroom to the clubs. No one can resist dancing and twirling in a fringed skirt!
