ALL IN THE DETAILS: Colors Come Out To Play

April 17th, 2015 at 2:00am

I know many of you are big fans of an all-black ensemble because, I mean, who isn’t? But I’d still like to invite its other friends. The friends who bring a little rainbow into our lives. Now don’t get me wrong, black is a powerful color. It is strong and bold, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the colors aren’t. Sometimes the rest of the color scheme can be rad and show stopping and can make any ensemble you put together look pretty awesome.

This Fashionisto brought back a dear old friend of ours: the tie-dye shirt. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I think tie-dye is pretty cool and not as lame as it is sought out to be. And no, it is not only for the hippies or for the forever cherished ‘70s. The tie-dye element is coming back with a vengeance—a vengeance to make us look cool. This Fashionisto actually made this pretty rad T-shirt himself! The beauty with a DIY tie-dye shirt is that you never know what you’re going to get, and it is a fun, creative project to do. Another great thing is that the neon colors of his top make him stand out and keeps him from looking bland. His gray sweater perfectly blends in with the colors and doesn’t make his outfit look distracting.

If you can’t handle color, then cover your eyes because this Fashionisto’s neon green sneakers are a killer (in a good way, of course). You’d think that it would clash with his top, but his gray sweater and denim bottoms help maintain a balance. And if you’re looking for a cool factor, you might want to rock a pair of sunglasses like his. I mean, who wouldn’t?

Now who wants a DIY tie-dye shirt? I think I do.

How To: Don’t want to waste money on buying a tie-dye shirt? Then try a DIY project and experiment. You’ll be sure to have a one of kind top to rock around!
