ALL IN THE DETAILS: Classic Stripe

One can never go wrong with a monochromatic outfit. My favorite monochromatic pairing is black and white. I met this Fashionista who pulled off this simple but edgy look for an afternoon out shopping.

She paired her classic white jeans with a black and white striped top. The top’s ruffle bottom was too cute for words. I love the little flare it gave to the outfit. White jeans work wonders for Fashionista’s with long legs. They draw attention to the lower part of the body.

I couldn’t help but obsess over the pop of color she added by sporting a burgundy Rebecca Minkoff cross-body purse. For shoes, she tied the outfit together with lace-up gladiator sandals. Sandals like these are perfect to throw on to make any outfit look chic.

The best part of this outfit are the elegant details. She contrasted the top by adding a Kendra Scott tassel necklace and Kendra Scott teardrop earrings. A Florida girl never leaves the house without sunglasses. These all black Ray-Ban aviators gave edge to the outfit.

This simple outfit is sure to be a showstopper when out and about. The outfit can easily transition from day to night. A pair of heels instead of sandals would be perfect for a date night.

Want to stand out but not go overboard? Stick to a basic monochrome color scheme. It is easy to pair and fun to dress up. Monochromatic always looks sharp. Don’t be afraid to head out the door in all one color. I always feel fierce when wearing a single shade from head to toe.
