ALL IN THE DETAILS: Bracelets, Rings And A Worldly Watch

February 16th, 2015 at 2:05am

There’s something to be said for a person who can wear loads of hand jewelry and still look flawless. Personally, I think stacking bracelets and rings is worth the skin indentations. Nothing helps in showing someones personality and style more than jewelry. But hand jewelry specifically has a special role in an outfit. It can be bold or demure and sometimes even has special meaning. Other times it’s just a cool compilation of beads or metal that you found in a dingy shop. Whatever the case, this type of jewelry has character that is unprecedented in any other small detail trend.

This Fashionista does a great job of bringing brightness back into the dull of winter. Her floral print button-down gives just enough of a pop of color to give lightness to the outfit without being overwhelmingly springy. Now on to the belles of this ball: rings and bracelets. The difference in materials used to create each of these pieces pushes the idea of individuality and originality. Each one is different but they all work in an unkempt harmony that furthers a laid back vibe. The face being a world map, this watch is a standout that gives a minute part of the outfit some substance that it normally wouldn’t have had.

How To: This trend is one that is easily emulated. Finding a color of metal that you feel comfortable wearing is a great place to start. I personally love silver so it usually helps to limit my choices when ring shopping. The same goes for bracelets. There’s no such thing as too much or too little. It’s all about you want to make the jewelry work for your particular look.
