With weather hitting the mid-70’s in Eugene this week, and yes it rained on and off all last week, it is time to put away those rain jackets, at least for a day or two. A quick look outside and I am starting to really notice a lot of maxi dresses and high-waisted Levi Brand Jeans from the stands of a Ducks baseball game to just groups hanging out on the lawn. This bohemian look has to be my all-time favorite style and since the sun is out, I’m starting to see a lot of it!
This Fashionista is styled in a very bohemian and flowy outfit. She sports a very detailed-oriented look from head to toe. Her black flat brim hat recently purchased at her local Nordstrom store has a band of medallions giving it a Southern yet bohemian flair. Her attention to detail has made this outfit shine like the sun in Eugene. The dress that she is wearing is a black maxi dress purchased from Forever 21, beautifully highlighted with an embroidered lace skirt. She keeps all her personal items perfectly organized in her simple Michael Kors black leather cross-body bag, useful but stylish. To add just a little color to her outfit she threw on her long multi-colored tribal print kimono, which not only gives the outfit some color but it also adds some pattern.
To add a little something to complete the outfit, this Fashionista included a few of her favorite jewelry pieces, highlighted by a large gold pendant necklace from Nordstrom along with a Michael Kors leather watch. We can’t for a second forget her pair of black classic Ray-Ban sunglasses that bring the look together. This Fashionista knows that Eugene weather can be fickle and is taking advantage of this sunny opportunity to show off her style.
How To: Pairing a simple black maxi with a colorful kimono or jacket is a perfect way to add some flair to an outfit! You can even add a bold piece of jewelry, like a chunky turquoise necklace.
