ALL IN THE DETAIL: Leaves of Fall

The bright colors of fall are all around us. Leaves litter the ground, and I often find myself trudging through the piles. Fortunately, the weather is still quite warm and we don’t need to put on our winter coats just yet. My favorite season is fall because it begins the holiday feelings of hope and joy on campus. Talk of Thanksgiving break is all I hear. A long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt is all you need for now, though the mornings are very cold.

This Fashionista on my campus is wearing a red flowing shirt that reminds me of the leaves that are being blown around by the wind. Her jeans are a light blue that remind me of the sky. Her long sleeve shirt is red, which puts the holiday feelings in the air. She wears her heeled brown boots with buckles on the sides, which make her outfit a little dressier. She will only be able to wear these boots for few more weeks before the New England blizzards come. As an accessory, she wears a gold watch that goes very well with the colors scheme she’s wearing. The gold stands out to me because it is a color that I associate with Thanksgiving and even Christmas a little. The red shirt she is wearing reminds me of the fall leaves and the holidays to come. I always find it hard to find pretty long sleeve shirts and this one definitely stood out to me. The V-neck line and the uneven bottom makes this shirt more than an average long sleeve shirt.

I picked this particular Fashionista because I could tell from the look on her face and the colors that she was wearing that she was ready for the holiday season just around the corner.
