ALL IN THE DETAILS: Mad Tassels

Spring is right around the corner for us in Wisconsin, but that doesn’t stop college students from pulling out show stopping looks. Even if the weather is rainy, cloudy or downright gross, this Fashionista’s outfit is shining bright.  Whoever said white doesn’t work after labor day was wrong. Breaking the rules is the new right.

Taking inspiration from the flowing and free, this outfit is down right killer.  Flowing tops with flare denim are huge right now, thanks to ’70s runway trends. In addition to the perfect balance of flow and flare in this Fashionista’s outfit, is the wonderfully detailed tassels and open back.  Yes, this already amazing tunic is backless; talk about a little surprise and a lot of excitement all in the details of this top.  I’m not over it.

Each tassel, draped down and around the scooped back, is beaded with green and yellow beads.  Ending in beautifully hanging tassels, the details in this top make this look stand out.  I can’t help but mention how rockin’ this Fashionista’s hair looks in contrast to the beads and tassels! It’s amazing. Since spring break is coming up, you could even wear this top over a swimsuit as a beach-ready cover up. Extremely versatile, this tunic can also be paired with tights, leggings and trousers for a varying set of looks!

How To: You too can rock this look.  Become queen of bohemian chic, by pairing a flowing tunic with really any pair of pants, to welcome spring in style. Don’t be afraid to be bold! Bold is beautiful.
