FASHION FROM ABROAD: Booted Up

London in the spring is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The trees in Hyde Park are blossoming, colorful daffodils are planted and hundreds of people are power walking along the Serpentine River that runs through the park. With the blooming of fresh flowers comes the emergence of new styles. Gone are the days when we had to wear five layers and thick socks to stay warm; now we are free to roam in T-shirts and shorts.

This guy was walking in London when I noticed his outfit. He was sporting a major trend that has taken Europe by storm, the boot. Boots have always been popular for girls, but have not always been a socially acceptable article of clothing for guys. However, they are all the rage right now. This fellow wore brown leather boots that had a slightly worn yet stylish look to them. They laced up to his ankles, giving him a lumberjack look.

To complement his boots, he wore a pair of cuffed blue jeans and a button-down shirt. His turquoise shirt was unique in that it had a fun print. Short sleeve button-downs are the perfect shirts for spring, especially in a bright color. Just like most men in Europe, he wore a dark watch with a blue face. He really embraced the European culture by donning a full beard, as facial hair is very trendy at the moments for men.

This guy knew how to rock a spring trend in London. Boots are the ideal shoes for springtime in a city, as they are comfortable for walking long distances and are not too warm. If you want to want to walk in the shoes of the Europeans (literally), try sporting some fun boots!

Captured: I spotted this lad walking the streets of Fulham and enjoying the warm weather.
