Summer has officially come to a close and everyone has moved in on campus. As you are passing by the familiar faces, you are also looking with a critical eye for this year’s fashion trends. Looking at the cute summer sandals that will be taking their place in the closet soon as the cute boots return. Also, coming back into style are the skinny jeans and leggings that have been hiding on the shelves begging to come out. Light cover-ups finish the look and the next Fashionista will be walking the streets in style soon enough.
As the temperature begins to decrease and the leaves start to change colors, everyone is anticipating the official start to “sweater weather”. Every Fashionista wants to start the season right with the perfect oversized sweater and a pumpkin spice latte in hand as she walks to class towards the end of September to the beginning of October.
For now, this Fashionista believes that it is the perfect weather for a soft long sleeve shirt in a more muted color, like maroon, to bring in the fall colors and not moving back towards the summer season. The cardigan is perfect for the in-between season changes, especially the change between summer and fall because it is light enough that she is not sweating, she can always take it off for a different look, but the cardigan will keep her warm when the light breeze comes along. Pairing this top half combination with a pair of leggings makes the look that much more comfortable while still looking chic. This Fashionista completed the look with her favorite pair of brown boots and accessories so she will be ready for fall just as the leaves start falling. Her accessories included her favorite Opal ring that just happens to compliment the feather necklace hanging loosely around her neck perfectly and melds being casual and chic perfectly. Although this look is more casual, she is rocking the streets and feeling good!
So embrace the falling leaves and chilling temperatures and go out rocking in style and being comfortable like this fashionista with this chic look!
