WHAT TO WEAR: Mixing Seasons

September 15th, 2016 at 2:00am

As school finally starts and the end of the warm weather is near, it is hard to figure out what to wear during these changing seasons. It is not cold for leggings but it is not too hot for crop tops, instead there is a way to incorporate each season’s favorite style to be appropriate for class.

This Fashionista had mastered the art of mixing season styles perfectly! She is wearing a flowy stripped dress with a low turtleneck. The dress is similar to a sun dress as it is easy to move around in and breath in because there are no sleeves. The turtle neck and the dark stripes give it a cozy fall feel. Now I am excited for fall! The neck is very loose and is not too itchy like most high neck apparel.

She added a long beautiful necklace that gives a splash of bright color to juxtapose against the dark dress. The necklace included a gold chain with small little blue and gold pieces to resemble the feeling of a blue summer sky.  This Fashionista completed the outfit with brown platform heels. The shoes give off a strappy sandal look with the a warm brown color to give it a late summer/early autumn feel. I love to wear brown shoes for all seasons because they just add a bit of neutral color to the outfit.

This outfit could be perfectly be worn when it gets extremely cold outside by adding some brown or black boots and a jacket. For more comfort, wear some low heeled shoes. Make sure the shoes you wear are easy to walk in!
