WHAT TO WEAR: Fall Class Chic

It is finally time to swap out your strappy tanks and gladiator sandals for sweaters and boots because you know what time of year it is. Fall is in full swing. I obsess over the dark neutral colors, oversized sweaters and of course, a pumpkin spice latté.

In South Moon Under, I spotted this Fashionista who caught my eye with her adorable ensemble which looked like it could be a transitional outfit perfect for fall classes. This Fashionista is a student at Baruch College in NYC who’s studying marketing for fashion merchandising, so of course she knows how to accessorize an outfit with ease.

She wore her Club Monaco navy blue top with a white collar, a pair of white shorts, some silver jewelry and a chic backpack. The look would not be complete without the must-have Dolce Vita booties. They are perfect addition to your fall wardrobe. The booties allow you the freedom to wear this outfit on a warm fall day. In high school and throughout college, I always dressed up for school. School is a busy time and you can become stressed by the homework and studying, but it is important to take some time to express yourself through the things you wear. If you look good, you will feel good too.

Fall is my favorite season for fashion because you can always add another piece to a simple outfit like a blanket scarf, a wide-brimmed hat or a leather jacket. I would consider your coffee cup keeping you warm as an accessory as well. If you don’t want to add any layers to accessorize, a dark red lip will always make you look put together and ready to conquer anything.
