Menswear truly is a beautiful thing; not only do certain masculine trends get utilized by women but they are also extremely versatile for the guys. My favorite trend I’ve seen from the past year’s fashion shows is definitely the preppy look. It’s classic and given any decade after the 1950s, the most popular trend of the time.

Etro’s spring 2015 menswear show proved that this trend never goes out of style, from the crisp white jackets and pants to the eye catching prints and popping colors. The pastels of this collection are sure to turn heads wherever you go. Likewise, this Fashionisto rocked the trend around campus. He exemplified a more casual side of the trend and made it wearable to class.

This Fashionisto opted for ivory high-top Converse All-Stars for a more laid back look, which also makes it easier to walk from class to class. To have the shoes be fully seen, he rolled up his medium khaki pants which also adds to the overall feel of the look. Polos are a staple in the prep world and this Fashionisto opted for a textured red one that added some detail to his look. To top if off he grabbed Ray-Ban Clubmasters to block the sun while walking to and from class and a simple watch for some arm candy.

One Simple Change:  Bring a cardigan or lightweight blazer in case it gets cold! With the approaching fall weather comes colder evenings. The extra layer will definitely come in handy if you have later classes.
