WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Beep, Beep! Yep that’s your alarm again. Time to hit the snooze one more time. October is here which means the temperatures are dropping and going to class just seems to get a little bit harder and harder each day. Don’t get me wrong I love the colder weather, but getting up for an 8:00 a.m. class when you’re still in your bed without an outfit chosen is the biggest problem. Luckily, dressing for the fall just got easier.

This Fashionista knows the key to the colder weather is sweaters, scarves and boots. These key pieces make dressing for school in the fall easy and efficient. Skip the sweatpants and sweatshirts and instead try a pair of leggings with a cool orange sweater. Orange is the perfect neutral color for fall. Adding a scarf will instantly freshen up your look as well, whether it’s a basic one or patterned. Lastly, a pair of boots will keep your legs warm and stylish. Boots are in this season, but don’t feel limited to just brown or black. A statement pair of boots will make you stand out even more during your morning lecture. Studies have shown that there is a direct link between your emotions and what you wear meaning wearing a cute outfit could result in an A. So make sure to tell that to your parents the next time you’re asking for a new school wardrobe.

One Simple Change: Have work after class? Throw on an oversized blazer or jacket to polish off your look, while adding some much needed warmth.
