SYTLE GURU STYLE: I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend

Let me start out by saying that I am a strong and independent woman, and I don’t need no man. I’ve been a jamming out to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” for quite some time and take pride in the fact that I am a “goal digger.” However, lately I’ve been in need of a boy in my life, which just turned out to be the boyfriend jean.

When searching for that special connection with a prospective partner, women may seek a good sense of humor, intellect, honesty and good looks. Just like your dream man, the boyfriend jean has got it all. From being comfortable and roomy to just downright trendy, this casual denim look will have all the ladies in the room swooning over your boyfriend (jeans, that is).

What I adore about the boyfriend jean is that it goes with practically anything. By playing with floral blouses and strappy heels, you can keep your look refreshingly feminine. On the other end of the spectrum, make your look classic and hip by pairing with your favorite worn-in white T-shirt and a pair of pointy-toed flats. It’s clear from the runways that denim is in and from flare to the boyfriend I’ve seen it all. From Pam & Gela’s spring 2015, the boyfriend jean is an obvious frontrunner for this season’s looks.

If you’re trekking from class to class or even out for a night on the town, it would be in your best interest to bring your boyfriend jeans along. It’s the boyfriend who would love to meet your parents, would never go through your texts and doesn’t mind hanging around with the girls. Ladies, it’s time to go to your nearest shopping mall and be on the search for the boyfriend jeans of your dreams.

Get My Look: 1. A pair of the perfect boyfriend jeans. 2. A feminine flat. 3. The classic button-down top.
