Hey there Fashionistas!
Typically, this far into winter, Hoosiers are found bundled up, freezing in puffer coats—this year is a little different. Even for the extreme bipolar weather of the Midwest, this temperature is pretty uncommon this time of year. The confusion on what to wear based on the weather is, and always has been, the struggle regarding picking out outfits. My go-to in unpredictable weather is a jacket and T-shirt.
I found this light, acid wash Levi’s jacket at the thrift store. One of my favorite elements of design is texture, which this jacket adds. The denim encompasses a ’90s vibe, especially when combined with the large tee. Against the form-fitted bottoms, the bulkiness of the stiffer jacket adds interest to the overall look. I decided to wear solid black pants and knee high boots because it gives a break from the heaviness of the top.
So, I’ve always been a fan of superheroes, whether that be in comic books or movies. When I saw this oversized Thor T-shirt, you can assure I was jumping for joy. Who doesn’t love a good graphic tee? Dress it up with a skirt and blazer or dress it down with ripped jeans, graphic tees are a staple in every Fashionista’s wardrobe because they are so versatile. Along with being comfortable, graphic tees have recently been spotted on the runways, including designers like Haider Ackermann, Iceberg an Coach, making them super trendy. For the finishing touch, I grabbed a simple red bandana handkerchief, which also adds to the graphic nature of the tee.
