STYLE GURU STYLE: Spring Whites

As the school year wraps up, senioritis is in full swing for us graduating seniors. Now is the perfect time to plan summer trips and raid clearance racks at the mall. In my opinion, stores offer the best sales at the beginning of spring!

This weekend I decided I need a change, so I went to the hair salon and got a balayage just in time for spring. Balayage is my favorite hair trend because you don’t have to keep up with roots! Over the weekend, I also finally received my class ring for Duquesne University, which I am wearing in these photos.

This was my outfit of choice for a Sunday morning brunch in downtown Pittsburgh. First, I went back to the basics, bringing out my white denim and nude wedges. I bought this top during a sale at Francesca’s and I love it for the striped pattern and the unique detail around the neckline. Cold shoulder tops became a trend last fall and carried over into the spring in the form of tank tops.

I have noticed fashion bloggers are obsessing over two colors this season: light blue and light pink. The shade of blue I am wearing goes with basically any hue of color and makes a perfect daytime aesthetic.

To add some detail, I tied a denim jacket around my waist. A jean jacket is an excellent choice for any look this season and adds a flare of style when tied around your waist.

Last but not least, I wore a wrap bracelet to accessorize my outfit. Wrap bracelets are my all-time favorite jewelry trend! I purchased this from a local Pittsburgh boutique and I find myself wearing it constantly.
