STYLE GURU STYLE: Simple, Chic Style After Winter Break

After Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the winter is still here and along with it comes its cruel coldness! This is a season of dressing nice and keeping yourself warm with layers, scarves, and boots. Some friends sadly have to go to school right after hardcore parties, put up with harshness of this weather, and don’t care much about dressing up at all. Here is my styling advice to get rid this sluggishness and get into the mood of dressing up: stay simple!

A typical pair of black leggings, a light blue jean skirt, and the women’s sweater boot from Faded Glory are all must-have items of girls’ wardrobes in this chilling season. I definitely love the boot from which I got many compliments of my friends thanks to its trendy, vintage outlook suitable to most of my clothes. Additionally, its price is affordable to college students. Thus, I highly recommend it for our Fashionistas. At the top, I wore a white crop top accompanied with a black leather jacket. This outfit would be plain if I did not add on a necklace or a scarf. As you can see, the creamy color of the crop top definitely matches to either Alicia Coin armor boho necklace or a cozy fringe scarf. It is expensive to buy these accessories but it’s just my recommendation and you all can look up alternatives that are less costly.

Basic but chic, simple but fashionable, that’s my back-to-school styling for the first days of the spring semester! I hope my advice will inspire my CF friends to have a refreshing outlook at the beginning of 2017. I wish you all have a great upcoming semester and achieve many successes in your studies and careers.
