Happy September and welcome to my first official post! With school starting up this week, I thought I’d show you guys one of my favorite outfits I put together. I luckily still have about three weeks to go before I start school again, but if I were heading to class right now, this is what I would throw on before running out the door.
I picked up this rainbow striped sweater from a recent thrift trip and I could not be happier about it! I totally got those groovy vibes from it and I was so ecstatic to start styling it. It’s made of a thicker material and so I’d probably wear it more once the weather cools down because girl I was sweating when taking these pictures. I thought that it went perfectly with my trusty denim button up skirt and white sneakers. To add in a little pizazz, I threw in my favorite statement necklace from Forever 21.
This is such a simple outfit, but it’s definitely one of my favorites! I can already see myself wearing this top a lot this upcoming school year. Speaking of- I hope everyone had a great first day of school! If you’re like me and have a couple of weeks to go, enjoy your summer because it’s going to be over before you know it. Summer 2016 was so good to me. I got to travel for five weeks with my best friend and my family, hang out with my best friends, adventure around the city, edit my little heart out, spread love and just LIVE LIFE! I’m sad for summer to come to an end but I’m excited to grow even more this upcoming year.
On to another year of accomplishments and success (with a heavy dose of stress)!
