STYLE GURU STYLE: My Easter Ensemble

The snow is officially gone and warm weather is in store. Warmer weather means shedding all those heavy and excessive layers you had to wear during those long winter months. But guess what? You don’t have to wear any of those excessive sweaters any more because the temperature is rising here in the Midwest. It’s important that as we move into spring, we all keep our very stylish wits about us as we pick out our day to day outfits.

It’s time to put out all of your thick sweaters in the back of your closet and enjoy showing a little bit of the skin you have kept covered for so many months. For a perfect spring outfit, wear a cute sundress that shows off your legs. Carolina Herrera’s spring 2015 show exhibited spring dresses of various styles, but I am a sucker for a cute little sundress. Carolina Herrera always produces exquisite feminine ensembles that every woman swoons for. Dresses along with skirts are a nice way to look cute and playful this spring. It’s a bit more flirtatious than shorts, but still keeps you cool as the days get warmer. Spring is also a good time to try out some brighter colors that winter hasn’t necessarily allowed you to wear. I believe this is the perfect outfit for spring. A white sundress adds a touch of feminine to my spring wardrobe.

I try to counteract showing some leg with a high, collared neckline and wide straps that are also seen on throughout the Carolina Herrera show. My camel-colored leather booties add a dressy aspect to my outfit that amps up the entire look. Pulling the outfit together is my short-brimmed sunhat. The shoes, the dress and the hat are three very simple things that can make any girl’s spring wardrobe.

Get My Look: 1. Pick out a cute and simple sundress. 2. Add a short heeled bootie. 3. Top it off with a brimmed hat.
