With an innovative and classy sense of style, kate Spade is by far one of my favorite designers. The kate spade new york spring 2015 ready-to-wear was most definitely a collection to die for. The clothes have a sense of sophistication and elegance about them while still having the quality that they can be worn on any casual occasion. Floral patterns and color-block designs are two of the best things that will be all the rage this spring and Kate Spade didn’t leave room for argument with her 2015 ready-to-wear line.
Through my outfit I attempted to portray a laid back, more casual look that could be worn at school, a coffee shop or while hanging out with friends on the weekend. By pairing a white and gray semi color-block everyday T-shirt with a statement necklace, I feel I was able to bring out my inner Kate Spade. Not only is she a known clothing designer, but she’s also known for her charming statement necklaces and other jewelry. Versatility is one of the many things I admire about her. Through my floral print watch I was able to bring some pattern into a simple, casual look.
Pairing the look with a nice pair of blue jeans and rainbow sandals has enabled me to really achieve the casual laid back jeans and T-shirt look with a little kick. By dressing down the look and giving it a more casual vibe, the look can be worn on various occasions. Spring is a season where it starts to warm up to just about the perfect temperature—not too hot, not too cold, so a T-shirt and jeans are the perfect combination.
