Neutrals, outerwear and an overall modernized, simple look is how I would describe my perfect fall wardrobe. Sticking to classic pieces can always make a Fashionista/o look put together and ready to take on the day.

My inspiration for this ensemble was inspired by The Row’s pre-fall 2015 collection. Their goal for this collection was to incorporate lighter colors, but they used both brown and black tones. Vests, turtlenecks and light colored outerwear were the styles that were most noticeable throughout all of the looks.

Because their collection was focused on a pre-fall wardrobe, I added some New York flare. The combination of textures gave the outfit some depth. Combining wool, silk and denim added some modernity to the outfit, which is something the brand is known for.

My ensemble is easily accessible for the everyday Fashionista/o to pull off. Every great outfit requires lots of thought and little effort. After all, everyone wants to achieve that, “I woke up like this” look. Any pair of basic black jeans are suitable. My long, black tunic is from COS and is super light and comfortable. The staple item of this look, however, is my Zara waistcoat. This is the item that completely ties together my own spin on The Row’s pre-fall 2015 collection. Because I’m a sucker for a chunky heel, these Chelsea boots were a must. Thank you, fall! I finally get to bring out my black booties.

After incorporating these tips into your fall wardrobe, every Fashionista/o will feel as though they’ve just walked down the runway. Simplicity is achievable when it’s tweaked to represent current trends. The Row’s looks are the perfect representation of how we can look professional yet ready for a flirty day out with friends.
