Imagine being so close to fall and yet so far away. The urge to layer my clothes has been boiling inside of me since September. Unfortunately, the dream of me doing so will continue to be delayed. That is because North Carolina weather has been juggling between the high 70s and the low 60s, and it can be difficult to dress accordingly. Luckily, I have found a solution! Without a doubt, wearing black is the answer to every girl’s problem. Whether you’re dressing up or dressing down.
My inspiration came from the 2015 Michael Kors fall collection. In his collection, he had beautiful furs which he paired with amazing ensembles. After his show, I knew I had to incorporate furs into my look. I decided to go for a cool street style look and wore my go-to color black because I knew I could never go wrong with this color. The black blouse gives off a chic, free spirited vibe and I decided to pair it up with a lightweight faux fur to give my look some attitude.
Faux furs are super trendy and they automatically give your look texture! The ripped jeans I’m sporting definitely defines cool street style. The one accessory that really helped me give off the cool street style vibe I was looking for was my clutch bag. Since the clutch is clear, it adds a unique detail to my look which is something I strive for when I style myself. To finish off the look, I wore white high-top Converse as the main statement piece in my outfit.
