STYLE GURU STYLE: Fall’s New Flare

Hello, beautiful people! I am so excited to post my second article as a Style Guru. Did you read my Style Guru bio? If not, then go read it. I have taken so many ideas by reading Style Guru bios or by just visiting their page. There are so many creative people out there.

For my second article, I decided to photograph myself and show how I am transitioning my favorite pieces from summer to fall with bell-sleeves and wide-leg pants.  The biggest trend this summer clearly has been the comeback of ’70s fashion. Off-the-shoulder tops, wide-leg pants and bell-sleeves are just some of the examples of it.

I am pairing my favorite dark denim wide-leg pants with a neutral bell-sleeve top. I like the banded bodice with channel seaming near the waist area, which gives a great shape to my body. This top was originally open from buttons to hemline, but I stitched the neck area a little bit so I can wear it without having to wear a camisole every time. I paired it with brown booties, huge earrings and a blush colored cross-body bag. This top looks amazing with skinny or flare jeans and boots or booties. You could also wear this look now with distressed denim shorts with over-the-knee boots.

Do you have a special top that just makes you want to wear it or just live in it? Well, that’s how I feel when I wear this top. It makes me feel spunky and groovy!

Style tip: Add some flare to your fall wardrobe this season! It is a fun, dramatic and perfect way for making a fashion statement.
