STYLE GURU STYLE: Comfy Camel-Chic

Fall semester is finally over and I’ve already done my fair share of celebrating. But the end of the semester isn’t the only thing worth celebrating this time of year. As I do my window shopping and fashion magazine browsing, I’m also celebrating all of the fabulous styles and trends of the season. All hail the neutral colors, cozy sweatersblanket scarves, adorable boots and chic jeans. When I search for fashion inspiration, I keep comfort towards the top of the list and when I came across Madewell’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection, I fell madly in love with the comfy, slouchy, quietly quirky and imminently pinnacle sensibilities that the collection embodies.

Seriously, the whole Madewell collection is to die for. I’m obsessing over the plaids, stripes, hats, chunky knits and jackets.

To replicate these comfortable yet stylish looks with items I already had in my closet, I grabbed my J.Crew camel-colored sweater and paired it with my skinnies, brown riding boots and a huge plaid blanket scarf to keep me warm and toasty. I swiped on a nude lip color and I was ready to hit the city in style!

Another way to wear a chunky sweater this season is to pair it with your favorite boyfriend jeans, cuff the ankles and throw on a trendy pair of bootie heels.

I also have to brag a little about my manicure. In order to make my shellac last an extra week or two, I painted glitter over my regrowth to create a reverse glitter ombré and give my shellac new life! I’m also totally in love with my knitted hobo gloves because they keep my hands and wrists warm while still allowing me to scroll through my Twitter and Instagram feeds with ease. And do you see my trendy flash tattoo? These things are so much fun to wear for a night out with friends to add a little bit of flair to your outfit.

Get My Look: 1. Hobo gloves. 2. Riding boots. 3. A knit sweater.
