The Baum und Pferdgarten fall 2015 collection has two of my favorite things—beautiful layers and rich colors. However, for the look I decided to recreate, I decided to go against the grain and chose an all black ensemble that I think is great for back to school events. These designers from Copenhagen are known for their sporty-chic styles and Look four does a great job of exemplifying the designers’ taste and back to school fashion.

Recently, I’ve been trying to incorporate lighter colors into my wardrobe but this all black look was just too easy to recreate and is versatile enough for both school and play. The black and white top is sporty and comfortable, a great contrast to the frilly and ruffled black skirt. As for my own look, I opted for a more wearable and basic piece, the black circle skirt. For shoes, I wore my black fisherman sandals that add a casual touch but remain comfortable.

I styled my hair in a trendy half top knot and winged my eyeliner. The outfit and makeup are sweet but not endearing. It’s perfect for homecoming games and lunch dates. Add some school spirit and you’re ready to go.

I’m never afraid to try new looks and experiment with my style but I still think it’s great to wear more casual and easy going outfits every now and then. Cut back on those precious minutes the next time you’re late for class by taking inspiration from this all-black ensemble.

Get My Look: 1. Graphic top. 2. Circle skirt. 3. Fisherman sandals.
