Right when we all start getting a little tired of the cold, the resort 2015 collections come out to astonish us all. As some of us are lucky to flaunt these gorgeous looks on our vacation get-aways, many of us are left in the cold. This however did not stop me from putting together an outfit inspired by Badgley Mischka’s resort 2015 collection. Comprised of wide legged pants, crop tops, pastels and sparkly jewels, it is no wonder this collection made a statement. Since rules are meant to be broken, I figured rather than waiting for a vacation, I would imitate this collection in 20 degree weather.
To my surprise, the two pieces I chose to pull off this look were both by alice + olivia. With these high-waisted wide legged lace pants and this blush colored long sleeve crop top, I was able to bring Badgley Mischka’s collection home. Given my short stature, I paired these fun statement pants with some high heeled pointed toe boots for height and elegance. I let my pants be the statement by pairing it with a simple long sleeved top, but threw on a favorite gold floral BCBGMAXAZRIA necklace to add some holiday sparkle. To go along with my pastel colored top, I paired a pastel blue shoulder bag to complete my look. To winterize the look a little more, throw on a fur (real or faux) shawl for extra warmth.
