STYLE GURU BIO: Stephanie Bigot

Hey Gorgeous People! I’m Stephanie, a senior at Florida Memorial University studying Marketing. This is my first semester with CollegeFashionista and I’m stoked to learn everything that CF has to offer.

Fashion is my creative outlet and a special way to express myself. I can’t say I have a specific style, I like to switch it up depending on my mood and my creative juices.

Heating up Miami with bold, alluring, and creative style, this was such a fun look to wear with statements written all over this ensemble. There’s an interesting and organic way in which this outfit came about. As of late, I have gotten lively spurts of excitement and this was one of those moments.

Velvet has been all the rage for this season and I love it. I opted for my velvet thigh high boots (I have to admit, I’m a sucker for a bomb pair of heels), a detailed lace blouse and an essential piece, black soft leather pants. This risky and daring ensemble cohesively tailors together. The lace texture adds depth and gives the top an intimate and feminine feel. Paired with high-waisted jeans, it cleans up the look allowing for a tasteful touch. My thigh high boots are a must have, its versatile and it’ll instantly vamp up any style.

I’m obsessed with the sleek black bag I got from my mother. Truly, the best place to find anything vintage is in your mother’s closet.

The arm candy alone is a showcase with clashing metals. The thrill of piecing together an outfit is that there are no rules. Quoted by top icon Yves Saint Laurent, “Fashions fade, style is eternal.” A staple for us Miami girls to absolutely get through the season fashionably is a rich statement piece. If you don’t already have one, it’s a must!
