Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Sakiya Duncan. I am currently a junior at Michigan State University. I am a journalism major with a minor in public relations. This is my second semester as a Style Guru and I am super excited. At this moment in my life I am redeveloping my style. I absolutely love fashion and this year I have decided to to be more of a risk taker. Heels are my life and I always think you need a reason to throw on a pair of heels. Though the more I get into fashion and study looks, I have learned you never need a reason to throw on a pair of heels.
I aspire to be a big time magazine editor, and or work for a lifestyle and fashion public relations company. I love being behind the scenes and seeing how things work. My dream job is to work for Cosmopolitan magazine. I sometimes question my career in journalism, but I have a voice and I want to share my point of view with the world and look good while doing it. I cannot see myself doing anything else! I love fashion, photography and writing.
My look that you currently see is very simple. I have on a copper colored blouse to get into the fall season with a black mini skirt...it looks classy and edgy at the same time. I like for my clothing to be simple yet eye catching and for my shoes to pop out at you. I like to shop at stores that are sometimes over looked because you never know what you will find.
