STYLE GURU BIO: Rosario Bollotta

September 4th, 2015 at 2:00am

Hello fellow fashion lovers, friends and family! I am Rosario Paulina Bollotta, and I reside in a small town in Panama City, Florida. I am a Public Relations/ Advertising major at Gulf Coast State College. I’m also a journalist for my college’s newspaper, The Gull’s Cry and a contributing writer for Her Campus. And soon, a blogger. That’s right, I’m starting my own life and style blog!

Can you believe this is my fourth semester as a Style Guru? I live it, I breathe it… I am CollegeFashionista! Okay… I’m a little too enthusiastic. But you get my point, I’ve loved my time as a Style Guru. When I began my internship last fall, I had no idea how much CollegeFashionista would affect my life. My passion for fashion and style grew stronger, as well as my interest in photography and aesthetics. I’ve become even more devoted to writing. What I love most about this internship is being able to express myself and showcase not only my personal style but of those in my community as well!

Let me tell you about myself… I’m a redhead, and I’m never going back. My must-have beauty product is lipstick, Brave by MAC to be exact. I’m obviously a struggling shopaholic: handbags are my weakness. The day I buy myself a Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 is when I’ll finally fulfill my designer obsession. My favorite accessory that I wear daily is my gold “name” necklace. Carrie would be proud (Sex In The City reference). I am extremely curious, hence why I love traveling. This summer I visited New York City, Kuwait and London! I’m a foodie, so I enjoy experimenting with eatery of all cultures. I’m also a proud social media junkie. Be sure to add me on Instagram: hashtagrose! And here’s a fun fact about me: my nickname, which I’ve tried so hard to erase from everyone’s mind, is Bygal- meaning baby girl.

Last but not least, the deets on my outfit! My top is a white, Hanes T-Shirt, a RosarioPaulina original, LOL. I just DIY’ed a plain white tee by distressing it, creating cuts and holes. For bottoms I’m wearing a black mini skirt with zipper detailing. Tied around my waist is a green flannel, a staple in my wardrobe. For shoes I’m rocking my most coveted pair of black, gladiator sandals. My accessories include a light pink bucket bag, my current favorite, a pair of black, matte cat-eye sunglasses and gold, cartier look-alike love bracelets paired with my name necklace.

I’m thrilled to be a Style Guru for another semester! I can’t wait to show off the unique, individual styles of students at my campus. I’m also excited to see fashion forward students from colleges all over the world. Stay tuned for my monthly articles, Fashionista/os!
