STYLE GURU BIO: Nicole Ball

Hey y’all! My name is Nicole Ball and I am currently a freshman at Georgia Southern University and I am majoring in fashion merchandising. I am so excited to have this opportunity to be a Style Guru for the upcoming year and can’t wait to show everyone what I am all about!

If you know me at all you’d know I could buy clothes and shoes every day (shoes are my all-time weakness). I am constantly looking for a reason to go into a boutique for something, even if I know I don’t need anything. I won’t buy an expensive item at the grocery store but when it comes to shopping for outfits I have to try and control myself. Although I am all about the bougie look, I am a pro at finding super nice clothes for cheap (T.J.Maxx is the place to go).

Whenever I am on my phone I am typically online shopping or on Instagram and Pinterest. I love looking at different outfits and figuring out how I can make the look into something of my own. I have never been the one to follow the crowd or latest trend because who likes to look at people who are all wearing pretty much the same thing? It gets boring. I am always the one who shows up in something completely different, kind of like being the trendsetter. I think a lot of girls’ problems these days are that they are scared to have a new look, but half the time it’s what you get complemented most on, so go for it! Never be afraid to be different and have your own style, just be confident.

This look could be perfect for any occasion. I personally love the skirt and over-the-knee boots with lots of arm candy. It’s a very classy and sassy look. The skirt I am wearing is a suede material and is sold in multiple boutiques and shops! These over-the-knee boots can make anyone’s legs stand out and look fabulous, I absolutely love them! Another thing I wear with basically every outfit is jewelry. I think it can really pull an outfit together and give it some color and spunk. Most of the jewelry I wear is made by myself but there are a lot of similar items in stores (it’s just a lot cheaper to make).

I can’t wait to share my style with everyone this year!
