Hey fellow fashion fans! My name is Megan Barr and I’m a junior at Philadelphia University. While here, I’m studying fashion merchandising. This is my second semester with CollegeFashionista, and I couldn’t be more excited. I had an absolute blast this past summer, writing articles about stylish people I came across.
When I’m asked to describe my style, naturally my answer is, “the contemporary section at Forever 21.” Forever 21 is my go-to shop for everything! I love shopping for new pieces that can describe to everyone who I am, without having to open my mouth. Because fashion is constantly changing, Forever 21 always has the latest pieces I want. I am your typical girly girl with a wardrobe full of sparkles, dresses and bright prints. An outfit is never complete without a little twinkle! I’m also a sucker for accessories. I never leave my house without my thin black choker on, which is one of my favorite trends of the season. I know, for sure, even after the choker is considered to be “off trend,” I’ll be one of a few still rocking the choker.
Fall is my favorite season to dress for, by far. While the weather is still warm, with a little chill in the mornings and evenings, it’s the perfect time to layer! It’s super easy to throw on some jeans, a cute top, with a scarf and maybe a sweater, and you can call it a day. I love layering because you can take a simple tank and put a shirt underneath, and automatically you have a completely different look!
