Hello everyone! My name is Mary Weber and I am excited to say that this is my first semester as a Style Guru for College Fashionista, and I already love it! I am a junior at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri studying Business Administration and Legal Studies. My end goal for my academic career to become a cooperate lawyer and work for a fashion publication, retailer, or designer on their legal team.
I first became interested in fashion and the fashion culture when I was in grade school. I would frequently purchase NYLON magazines and read about all the people I still look up to today. Sophia Amoroso, I’m looking at you! When I first found College Fashionista my freshman year of college via Instagram I was obsessed. I followed them on other social media platforms also along with various style gurus. I am still shocked that I am a part of the College Fashionista community. I am excited to see where it will take me and how I can grow and expand my skills and myself as a person.
In the pictures above I am wearing what would be a normal outfit for myself everyday. I am up early most mornings when it is a bit chilly then in the afternoon it becomes hot! Usually I dress in layers or balance out long sleeves and shorts or pants and a tank top. I love high fashion but I also love practical every day wearable fashion.
