STYLE GURU BIO: Madison Farrell

Hi there Fashionistas/os! My name is Madison Farrell. I am currently starting my sophomore year at Iowa State University. I am majoring in Fashion Merchandise and Pre-Bussiness. If I’m not on campus running to catch the next bus,(yes I’m that girl) you can find me with my friends at our beloved local coffee shop “The Stomping Grounds” talking about our favorite fashion trends and studying.

Throughout elementary and high school, I have attended private catholic schools. My fashion sense consisted of white and navy polos along with khakis and skirts. As I moved on to high school, expressing myself through accessories and shoes is what started my first love for fashion. I loved how simple it was to add my own sense of style to a boring uniform.

Now that I’ve ditched the polos and cardigans I am beginning  to shape my style to fit my personality and lifestyle. I love wearing simple and timeless pieces and mixing in a risky new trend. I don’t think I’ll ever stop recreating myself and my style and that’s what I love most about fashion. The fashion industry never stops evolving and surprising me with things I thought I’d never wear. I have followed College Fashionista for over a year now and the best thing about it is that it represents every different type of college student and doesnt exclude its self to one particular style.

This will be my first semester interning for College Fashionista, and I could not be more excited. Walking around campus, I see so many different styles that inspire me every day and I cannot wait to share them, So get ready fashionistas/os and show me how you create you unique look!
