Hello everyone! My name is Madeline Murray, but I go by Maddy, and this is my first semester writing for CollegeFashionista! I am so excited to begin my blogging and fashion photography career and can’t wait to share it with all of you! I am a sophomore at Penn State and majoring in communications/ public relations and minoring in entrepreneurship and media analytics.
My style ranges and drastically changes by the day. I can be a chic messy girl wearing ripped jeans and a plain black T-shirt with worn out adidas sneakers or sport a romper, wedges, chunky necklace and excessive eyeliner. My style changes day by day and mood-by-mood. I have grown up in New York so I have been able to see the latest trends develop before my eyes when I visit New York City, which is pretty much every weekend!
In high school I had to follow a dress code, which meant I had to stick to strict rules about what I was and was not allowed to wear; for example, no jeans or leggings, only corduroys or a button-down shirt or sweater. Every since graduating, I have been exploring different styles along with mixing and matching items to create my own look and make-up for the missed time.
I am very into wearing old trends including boyfriend Jeans, tube tops or even chunky wedges that are not only comfortable, but fashionable!
I cannot wait to show you all my favorite outfits and trends. I hope to inspire some of you to start your own blog or start to photograph your favorite outfits and share them with the world!
