STYLE GURU BIO: Maci Grice

Hello, hello fashion lovers! I would first like to introduce myself, I’m Maci. I grew up in Dothan, Alabama, and I currently attend The University of Alabama where I am beginning my senior year. (WHAT?!) I am a southern girl in the sense that I LOVE sweet tea and Alabama football–ROLL TIDE, but my soul truly belongs in a big city. I am a marketing major with hopes of bringing my skills to the fashion industry. I’m very excited about my first semester with CollegeFashionista and I can’t wait to see what other opportunities lie ahead of me in the next several months.

My love for fashion started at a young age playing dress up with my older sister, to designing my dance costumes, to now working at a local boutique. Shout out to Market House. I enjoy working in retail because I love helping girls style their perfect look. I also enjoy keeping up with the latest trends through Pinterest. I would consider myself a risk taker when it comes to trying new trends in fashion. Fashion has become a part of my everyday life, and I love that I can express myself through my personal style. In my opinion, style has a way of saying who you are without having to speak.

Enough rambling, now for the deets! Here is how I styled this BOMB jumpsuit from Market House. If you didn’t already know, this rust color is so in right now and it just so happens to be the perfect fall color. With this unique choker detail, I didn’t want to overdo it with jewelry, so instead I opted with simple good hoops and a bangle. To add some flare, I accessorized with my favorite chunky, double buckle belt. Another plus for you lazy girls (me), jumpsuits don’t require you to put together a full outfit because who has time for that?! This ’70s inspired outfit is perfect for events or a GNO. Until next time…
