Ciao, my fellow fashion lovers. My name is Isabella Ciolfi and I am a senior at Lasell College, majoring in Fashion Merchandising and minoring in Fashion Communications. It is such an awesome opportunity to be apart of the CollegeFashionista team and to be able to share my love of fashion with you all!
My true passion for fashion actually didn’t start until I was in high school. My sophomore year I had to choose an extra curriculum and saw that they offered a fashion class, I thought “well I like to shop, so how bad could it be?” After one class I was hooked. My style today is a collaboration between the late ’80s and modern fashion. I am a true movie buff and instantly became infatuated with Kelly Lynch’s miraculous outfits, Molly Ringwall’s true originality (except that awful dress in pretty in pink) and Jerry Hall’s supermodel style.
I believe personality is ultimately reflected by the clothes you wear. If anyone had to describe me it would be sassy and laid back. I’m not afraid to take a risk, but I like to also be comfortable. I think that’s a huge trend, especially for college students. That is why I love my comfortable slingbacks which can easily be paired with any outfit. And also with fall coming flannels and denim are a MUST.
My goal throughout this semester is to influence and hopefully learn more about my fellow fashion readers/Gurus. We live in such an amazing world with vast opportunities, fashion, trends, cultures and personalities. Let’s explore them together! Xo
