STYLE GURU BIO: Ibiza Troya

My name suits me since I’ve always been a wild child, and not necessarily the wild child you are thinking of. I’ve always been different with my style choices and been known to be a trendsetter with my unique taste. Now, I know you’ve heard this many times, but throughout this internship I hope I can live up to my name. I am not the type that really follows trends. If I like a certain article of clothing, odds are I will buy it and wear it.

One of my favorite prints would have to be leopard. It’s a bold print that can be worn throughout the year and has the ability to make a statement. Season after season, pops of the spotted print appear on everything from shoes to jackets. The trend of wearing animal print started in ancient times when clothing was used only for protection. It developed over time and became a fashion symbol that represented social status and style. I may be a little bias when I say this, but I can’t imagine a world without leopard. It’s a print that can make you stand out without having to put in much effort.

For this look I decided to wear a leopard shirt dress. I paired it with a fedora hat, a belt for an extra pop of detail and low gold gladiator sandals. I kept the accesories very minimal, since the dress alone is already loud.

Get ready as I show you what my campus has to offer, and don’t be afraid to bring the wild animal in you out this fall!
