Hello to all the fashion lovers and to my fellow Fashionistas/os! My name is Devynne Diaz and I’m a junior at the University of Arkansas majoring in news/editorial journalism and psychology. This is my third semester interning with CollegeFashionista and I’m so thrilled to be returning to share the unique and inspiring styles around me with all of you!
This fall, I’m really excited to be adding some new essential layering pieces as well as some thick vintage-style denim into my wardrobe. My personal style revolves around variations of neutral colors, such as white, grey and black, so I decided that this fall I would search for quality, affordable bodysuits. This black bodysuit features a high-cut neckline as well as ribbed detailing. The material offers some stretch, which is in my criteria for a perfect bodysuit because feeling comfortable is key to feeling confident. In this ensemble, I decided to pair this bodysuit with my favorite metallic accessories and my new favorite pair of Levi Brand Jeans.
This particular style appealed to me for numerous reasons, but the high-waisted cut, tapered leg and frayed hem made me fall in love. They’re the perfect mix of authentic vintage style jeans that flatter any body type, while not being too trendy or too casual, which describes me perfectly. While I’m aware and appreciative of some trends in fashion, I like to keep my personal style clean-cut with neutral colors incorporated and comfort in mind.
