STYLE GURU BIO: Dema Issa

So we meet again, my fellow Fashionistas/os!

Salute! This is Dema Issa over here, reporting for duty. This is my second semester interning with CollegeFashionista and I’m ecstatic! I had a blast and a half scooping out styles and fashion statements last semester. I’ve had the opportunity to bump into stylish males and females and hold discussions about their unique style that sets them apart and grab onto their advice on how to trend with their own touch added to it.

A little bit about myself: I am multicultural mixed with Arab/American and have lived in Florida for the past 12 years. Living in Sarasota has been pleasant; it is very relaxing and not too much of a stressful life. Thank goodness for the beautiful Siesta Key and cool white sands! I am an advertising student in my senior year, so I’m glad to announce I will be graduating in December (God willing!) I’ve interned with a local radio station (as an account manager), advertising agency (research, branding, and ROI tracking) and will have the exciting opportunity to intern with two different magazine companies this semester where I will create and design ads and update social media for one, and work with marketing and strategy for the other. I am also glad to have this experience with CollegeFashionista because it has opened doors through the fashion industry and advertising within magazines for me.

In my photos, I am wearing my intern wear. I have on a green Calvin Klein shirt and some neutral colored Express pants. I threw on a pair of camouflage pumps and dangling earrings to spice up the professional look! I feel very comfortable in my outfit and can still show up at the office looking ready to work hard.

I hope you would follow me via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram linked in the bio page. I would love to read feedback or comments on my articles that I have been and will be writing. Thank you for reading a bit about me. Looking forward to another fun and stylish semester!
