STYLE GURU BIO: Delaney Morrison

Being a freshman in college brought about so many more changes than I ever could have imagined. Between school work, jobs and a social life, I sometimes wish I could roll out of bed and rock my pajamas as the day’s style. But being in the bustling, fashion-forward city of Chicago, I would not be caught dead leaving my dorm in what I slept in. This newfound lifestyle has forced me to adapt and change my approach to fashion, becoming more savvy with using pieces in new ways, layering for warmth, as well as making sure the wind will not destroy my outfit. Walking down the street, I am constantly seeing my fellow Fashionistas killing the fashion game and I cannot wait to share their expertise with you all.

But let’s not forget about the main source of my fashion inspiration: social media. I will constantly be checking in on the newest posts from Alexa Chung, Keltie Knight, as well as the lovely Victoria’s Secret Angels (my personal faves being Josephine Skriver and Sara Sampaio). I’m Slightly biased when it comes to Jo, seeing as she is dating one of my favorite musicians.

Music is tied as my first love with fashion. I live for intense jam sessions with my favorite artists blasting through the speakers, from Bohnes to Carrie Underwood to The Maine; music is my life. And with that, it also influences my fashion decisions. Beanies, flannels and cowboy boots are some must-have staples that I will never travel without.

When in doubt, put on your favorite outfit and your favorite tunes and everything will automatically improve!
