Hello fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Dahlia Gallemore and I am super excited to be writing for College. Fashionista this fall semester. I am currently majoring in Fashion Design and Marketing, as well as a fashion, makeup and lifestyle blogger. Although I have only been blogging for a little over a year now I can’t see myself loving anything else more (besides fashion, of course).
My hobbies include designing, sketching fashion illustrations, reading, and writing. I cannot tell you how much I love a good book. My favorite author is Kimberly Lawson Roby. Her books are attention grabbers from the very first page to the very last. I started writing poetry when I was nine which I’ve been doing ever since. My poetry is actually what led to me blogging.
My personal style is what I prefer to call fancy chic. I love taking simple pieces and vamping them to a completely different level. I love a good pair of boyfriend jeans or fitted jeans paired with my favorite lace top. I love anything denim or pink as well. My favorite thing about my style are the accessories I often choose(including my makeup). Fashion has always been in my life from day one. Even when I was a baby people would love the way I was dressed. I grew up watching shows such as America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway which increased my interest in fashion. To me fashion is literally my life and I wouldn’t see it any other way.
